Dr. Herrada

Alberto Herrada, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Alberto Herrada is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons in both forefoot and rearfoot as well as ankle reconstructive surgery. He specializes in lower extremity trauma, reconstruction of the foot and ankle, as well as diabetic limb salvage. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Herrada completed his undergraduate education at The University of Florida and completed his post-graduate education at Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores. He completed his surgical residency at Encino/Tarzana Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Herrada holds surgical privileges at several local hospitals including Broward General Medical Center Florida Medical Center, Plantation General Hospital, Memorial West Medical Center, and is an active attending physician participating with the Westside regional Medical Center surgical residency program.

While in training, Dr. Herrada frequently participated in The Baja Project for Crippled children in Mexicali, Mexico and recently participated at the Yucatan Project in Merida, Mexico. He is also one of a few physicians providing care at the Broward General Outpatient clinic for indigent and homeless patients. Dr. Herrada has lectured at local, state, and national gatherings. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Brady

Kevin P. Brady, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Kevin P. Brady is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons in foot surgery. He treats all aspects of foot and ankle pathology including diabetic limb salvage, lower extremity trauma, and reconstructive surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Brady also specializes in treating complex non-healing wounds, and is Physican Certified in Wound Care by the Council for Medical Education and Testing. He is also a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

After obtaining his B.S. degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he then graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Brady then completed a Primary Podiatric Medical Residency at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center and then his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Crozier Keystone Health Systems in Pennsylvania. He has been in private practice for 14 years here in south Florida.

Dr. Brady is on staff at several local hospitals including Westside Regional Medical Center, Plantation General Medical Center, Florida Medical Center, Memorial West Medical Center and Broward General Medical Center. He also holds surgical privileges at numerous surgical centers in the area. Dr. Brady is also staff physican at several wound care centers including The Wound Healing Institute at Florida Medical Center and St. Anthony’s Wound Clinic. Dr. Brady is past sub-section Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Broward General Medical Center, and holds several appointments on numerous hospital staff committees. He has also published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
